Who can take part?
The Alpaca Walking Experience is suitable for able-bodied people age 6 years and over. They are not suitable for children under 6 or for pushchairs and wheelchairs as the walk takes place over grass fields and undulating terrain.
Children 6 – 12 yrs are not allowed to take part in Alpaca leading, but can take part in the experience as a spectator. Adults can also take part as a spectator. The cost of a spectator is £10.00 per adult/ child. A maximum of 2 spectators per Alpaca.
Sorry strictly no dogs. Alpacas are frightened of dogs and the stress caused can lead to pregnancy loss for our females.
Appropriate footwear needs to be worn as off road terrain.
Walks may take place in drizzle or light rain but may have to be postponed during periods of heavy rain. Please phone us on 07974 435 278 before traveling if the weather conditions appear uncertain.
Finish off your experience with one of Betty’s homemade cream teas at £5.00 per person (pre ordered).
